Single Split Couplings
Single split couplings are designed for applications that demand a torque capacity that exceeds the abilities of set screw shaft couplings. One-piece split couplings provide significant clamping power in an efficient manner that leaves the shaft undamaged.
Ideal for holding two shafts together in an axial plane, single split couplings can be re-bored for special sizing. We can also provide them with recessed screws to create an exterior surface free of major projections for increased safety.
Single split couplings are a better method of holding two shafts together in an axial plane. The clamping power of the split shaft coupling provides a method of holding the shafts without damage to the shaft. Relief cuts are provided on all of these one-piece couplings. All of these can be re-bored to special and/or close metric dimensions.
