Our collars, couplings, and clutches are available in stainless steel grades including 303, 304, and 316, all RoHS compliant. Stainless steel products are useful in applications requiring frequent washdowns, including food processing, marine, medical/pharmaceutical packaging, and agriculture. For critical applications, Dayton Superior products also offer hygienic stainless steel parts.

316 stainless steel
This grade offers corrosion resistance and can be used in applications requiring harsh chemicals. Common uses for 316 stainless steel include: medical/pharmaceutical, laboratory, semiconductor, food processing, marine, and wastewater/water purification equipment.
303 stainless steel
This grade is a non-magnetic alloy, offering corrosion resistance, good machinability, and strength. Available in a standard shiny finish, a matte is also an option for custom applications.
304 stainless steel
This is the most common grade of stainless steel, offering corrosion resistance, strength, and machinability.
All grades have the option to add a color finish.
